Being a Chief Executive or Managing Director can be a lonely place to be. It can also be difficult to find someone to discuss key issues with who does not have ‘an agenda.’ Even Non-Executive Directors can find it hard to give impartial advice to the person, who is in essence, paying their ongoing retainer. This is where Mike Trup comes in.

With 40+ years of business experience, mostly at senior level in a variety of industries, as well as start-up through to exit experience, Mike has come across most business problems at least once in his career. 'Whilst not always knowing the answers I usually know what questions to ask, am pretty good at distilling down a problem to its ‘core issues' with possible solutions.'​

Using his 40 years of business experience he offers 1-2-1 discussions of key business issues to Chief Executives, Managing Directors and Founders. Importantly, Mike provides you with a  sounding board to help you clarify problems, brainstorm ideas and discuss possible solutions, all in a safe, confidential environment with an external advisor who has no ongoing agenda. These discussions can be face to face or over Zoom. These are confidential, retainer free, and charged by the hour. They worked best when conducted with some regularity but there is no obligation.
